How to Enter the 2010 ISES Esprit Awards
By entering the ISES Esprit Awards, you have a platform to demonstrate the high caliber of work that you or your company creates, setting you apart from the competition. The following page provides essential information applicants need to evaluate the various award opportunities and develop a successful application.
Steps to Enter:
Step 1: Read the "Rules and Submission Instructions" document carefully-- especially if you are a first time award applicant -- before beginning the online award process. You can print/use this document for award instructions, common pitfalls, and as a general guide through the awards process. This year's competition is open to events that took place between January 1, 2009 and December 31, 2009. Events held after December 31, 2009 may be entered in next year's competition.
Step 2: Either login to your ISES membership account or click "Enter the ISES Esprit Awards” on any of the ISES Esprit web pages and log into your ISES membership account. Submission of entries can only be done online through ISES’ very simple and intuitive process.
Step 3: Begin your award submission. Once you enter the online ISES Esprit Awards system you can take advantage of the "THE ISES ESPRIT ONLINE USER GUIDE"that will assist you with the new electronic process. As a best practice, start your awards entry in whatever word processing software program you typically use. This should give you the opportunity to easily edit, spell-check and determine final word counts for each section of your application.
Step 4: Follow the online awards process and if you need to, save your progress and come back to complete it later.
Step 5: Follow the steps provided to construct and upload your budget into the online award submission system. Use the budget template provided in “More Information” button in the budget section of the online process.
Step 6: Follow the steps provided to upload all your collateral into the online award submission system. Be extremely careful when uploading collateral; the majority of disqualifications each year occur because a logo or company name is left somewhere in collateral materials.
Step 7: Don’t forget to use the “More Information” buttons along the way for additional guidelines and tips for the step that you are completing.

Step 8: Pay for your entry(ies) by check or credit card through the online payment screen. The cost of the submission is $100 per submission per person. Only one check/cheque or credit card payment is permitted when submitting a joint/team entry. Checks must be postmaked by May 3, 2010
Step 9: Submit your entry(ies). Remember your status must indicate "submitted" before the entry is actually complete.
